University Of Maryland Student Wanted For On-Campus Assault: Police

The University of Maryland Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect behind a recent assault on campus.

The suspect was involved in a second-degree assault that happened at the McKeldin Library just before 10 a.m. on Monday, April 4, UMPD said. 

The suspect is described as White male, between the ages of 18 and 20. He was last seen wearing glasses, a blue puffy jacket with a blue hoodie underneath, a green hat, black NorthFace pants and black shoes. 

He was also carrying an Under Armour backpack with a green logo. The suspect later changed his clothes as he walked out of the library, wearing a pink shirt and black pants, police said.
